PARISH "Maria Mater Ecclesiae :
another gesture of great generosity 'FOR MAYO-Mwana PROJECT
Once again, my parish, the Maria Mater Ecclesiae "of Enna, offered a wonderful gift to our Mayo- Mwana Project in Zambia .
One of our most 'big,' surely the farm Silangwa, which, as you well know, and 'self-development and aims to strengthening of activity 'in rural areas, to prevent the escape of the people towards the cities'. Here, indeed, those who flee, often ends up massing in the degraded suburbs, jobless and destitute, 'terrible.
The company has a chicken coop, a pig farm just started, a large vegetable garden and a big field of corn, beans, and soybeans. Of great importance, and 'the presence of a mill, still in full swing'. For a couple of months 'started a small carpentry workshop, where they made pieces of furniture (chairs, tables, cabinets, cupboards ...) and where it is also given to some guys the chance' to learn a trade.
All these activities 'needed just a means of transport and the parish church "Maria Mater Ecclesiae" of Enna, always sensitive to our needs', once again we did really a very big and important gift, which will help 'surely strengthen our farm, both in the production and sales.
