At the end of Christmas and 'children's festival. The house sounds of Christmas carols that kids (and me too!) Know by heart and lights the tree and the nativity scene created an atmosphere all its own.
Outside the home, however, all is silent. Apart from a bit 'of decorations only two supermarkets in the city', it seems that a couple of weeks will be 'Christmas. Moreover, here, the holidays 'is reduced to the true essence, and that' the memory of Jesus 'birth, so you go to Mass and we exchanged good wishes for the coming year'. The consumer side of Christmas does not exist. Maybe 'and so better' even if I, as a true Western, apart from the centrality 'of religious ritual, I remain loyal to the traditions of the period and the memories that reminds me. So 'I am glad that my children can live the Christmas period as a special time of year, to always carry the memories with the passing years.
My 5 little angels have written their letters to Santa Claus, asking for toys of all kinds, except Gift "the chubby," he asked even biscuits, and John "the greedy" who asked the candy.
Eccoli mentre scrivono le loro letterine...
