October ... SWEET CAKES!
... and in fact in the month of October we celebrated the first Independence Day.
The October 24, 1964, Zambia won independence from England, colonizing since 1789. remarkable and 'the fact that independence has been achieved in an absolutely peaceful, without war and bloodshed. The British have followed 30 years of dictatorship filosocialista, led by Kaunda, still life and much loved by the people, which 'followed the multi-party parliamentary republic, still in force.
So ... as not even celebrate the holiday with the family most 'important of the nation??
A beautiful cake with the symbols of Zambia we were waiting! The Zambian flag has four colors. The green represents the vegetation and is' the dominant color, on which there are three stripes, a red , to indicate the blood shed by slaves, a black to represent the skin color of African and orange color of copper, Zambia's main resource of the subsoil. You can 'observe eagle represents freedom' of the people to move freely within the borders of Zambia.
On 30 October, instead, 'was my 45th birthday ! My dear co-workers gave me a surprise party, which 'was really a surprise,' cause I did not expect that they could just remember my birthday !!!!! I have even a gift: a beautiful painting of an African village. They know, in fact, how I miss the life in the woods ... They were really very special and I want to share with you photos of those moments.

course of the day and 'has also been welcomed by the many phone calls and many emails and messages on Facebook that have made my birthday a very special day. Thank you to all!
